Job Overview:
As a Farm Manager at Iraq Organics, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our organic crop production farm. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all aspects of crop cultivation, ensuring optimal yield, quality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Plan and coordinate all farm activities, including planting, irrigation, harvesting, and pest control.
Implement and maintain sustainable and organic farming practices.
Crop Planning and Rotation:

Develop and execute crop plans, considering factors such as soil health, climate, and market demand.
Implement effective crop rotation strategies to optimize soil fertility.

Staff Management:
Supervise and lead farm personnel, providing guidance and support.
Schedule and organize tasks to ensure efficient workflow.

Resource Management:
Manage resources efficiently, including equipment, machinery, and supplies.
Monitor and maintain farm infrastructure.

Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality organic crops.
Monitor and address any issues related to crop health, pests, or diseases.

Budget Management:
Develop and manage budgets for farm operations.
Monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation.

Environmental Stewardship:
Implement and oversee environmentally friendly and sustainable farming practices.
Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations.

Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of crop yields, expenses, and operational activities.
Provide regular reports to senior management on farm performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
Proven experience in farm management, preferably in organic crop production.
Strong knowledge of sustainable farming practices and organic certification processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret data for informed decision-making.
Familiarity with local agricultural conditions and challenges.
